I was lead to believe this assignment was an easy one. For the most part my class mates were right, but they didn’t really pay attention to the composition of the picture and the process of making it into night scenery. Since the picture already has shadows, it was hard to think of a light source other than a moon. I had to add color correction to both the sky and the actual foreground, but I separated the both of them into different layers since they had no common color correction.
This assignment was hard but all you had to have was the required skills and a little imagination. I didn’t really add a light source into the picture, but it makes you assume that there is a big one to the right since there are no stars or moon (light pollution). I also erased part of the foreground color correction to make it look like a shadow made from that light source.
