I had to make a lot of color blending layers and filter layers in order to come up with the color of this picture/painting. There are a lot of things that I had trouble in for this assignment, but I figured out more than half of what I didn’t know to begin with. The radial filter blur was one of the most troublesome parts to this assignment. The planet would get mixed up with the radial blur at first, but I ended up keeping it since it added a lot of motion to the earth.
The cloud rendering filter was really useful to get both color and random clouds to fill in the space. There is still much more to improve to this picture, but I’m going to have to look up more tools to make it a better composition. I certainly loved the little touches like the glows and burning to the picture. It makes the picture stand out more as a whole.
